Food at this restaurant is mostly good. BTW, their standard from one branch to another is somehow different especially the signature fish soup. Some branch serving is (temperature) hot good for appetite while some other branch not.

Their Suan Cai Yu Soup is a must-try. The fish is so fresh and the soup is so flavorful. The hot pot keeps everything warm jadi ngga worry kalo soup nya dingin Perfect for rainy days. The. Have heard of this resto in Astha 8 before. Didn't know they have a branch in PIK golf island. Started off with stirred fried beans with minced chicken. Surprisingly it's very good. Enough saltiness & garlic flavor. Glass noodle is quite bland with a little spiciness. Corn salted egg is very simple but good. Salted egg flavor is just nice. Not too overpowering. Deep fried prawn sprinkled with wheat. Quite big size shrimp & fresh. Tofu with minced meat & peas. Very mild flavors. Good for uneasy tummy. Roasted duck is quite well done for a non duck specialty restaurant although it's a little dry. Suan Cai Yu soup is the perfect blend of sour, mild and saltiness. Fresh fish and salted vegetables are infused together in one dish. Be careful not to bite into the mala spice.

On rainy night, sore throat, pas banget makan kuah ikan sayur asin. Food was and only took 10 mins long to be served. Services was too. Protip: order cumi bawang putih. And thank me later!

My very first try of THESE kind of food, EVERYTHING was so good! The staff and services, the menu, AND THE TASTE AS WELL super like! Must try : suan cai yu, egg tart, polo with butter! (I heard all the ingredients is import) WORTH TO TRY

Special herbs n spices make all menu very tasty. All dishes are enjoyable and the waitress & waitresses are serving them with good health protocols such as maintain physical distancing, wearing gloves. I strongly recommend this place if you want to enjoy chinese food, dining out.

We arrived at lunch time, their 1st floor is packed so we are directed to their 2nd floor. We ordered: - Gourami Suan Cai Yu (IDR 418K) - Chongqing Spicy Chicken (IDR 168K) - Salted Egg Yolk Corn Flakes (IDR 98K) - Soft Tofu in Yu Xiang Sauce (IDR 75K) - Wintermelon Pitcher 1L (IDR 99.5K) They served the fish with much fanfare: yelling and catchphrase in chinese We appreciate the special gesture though, it makes the experience stand out. The suancaiyu is the same as what I enjoyed in China. Properly delicious! The spicy chicken and salted egg corn is also mildly addictive. These are really good authentic high quality chinese food cooking styles that you can enjoy for approachable prices in Jakarta. Seems many used the opportunity for anniversary dinner or special occasions.

Suan cai yu lovers in this area must be thrilled with its existence. Considered a family friendly restaurant, this place is pretty huge and can accommodate many people. Although famous with the suan cai yu, there are plenty of other Chinese food on the menu that are delicious. Such a good option for those who live in the area.
